Novitiate
The novitiate is the second formal stage which lasts for two years. The first year is the spiritual/canonical year which is spent strictly in the novitiate community. The second year is partly spent outside in other communities or parishes to experience the life and demands of the active apostolate while integrating prayer, apostolate and community living and applying the knowledge and spiritual growth gained from first year. During this stage, the novices journeys with the novice mistress and her team to help draw the novice into a new adventure of love, seeking intimately to know Christ through solitude, prayer and discernment and prepare her for religious profession.
