History

We the sisters of the Child Jesus are a congregation of diocesan right founded in Chilubula- Kasama archdiocese in 1926 to serve the poor people of Northern Province by Bishop Etienne Larue a Missionary of Africa, who was Vicar Apostolic of Bangweulu Vicariate. Our story started in 1918 with a request to become a priest by a young girl named T Ngosa Nshindano who was a catechumen.
